NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State softball (30-21, 19-7 MVC) ended the 2023 regular season with a 19-7 conference record, earning the three-seed and first-day bye in the upcoming Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in Carbondale, Ill. on May 10-13.
The Redbirds are set to face the winner of No. 6 Southern Illinois and No. 11 UIC on Thursday, May 11 at 7 p.m. CT. (Story will be updated later with opponent after SIU and UIC play at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10).
