Normal, Ill. – The Bradley baseball team dropped the second game of a three-game set at Illinois State with the host Redbirds claiming a 9-3 victory. Bradley is now 12-20 on the season with a 4-4 record in Missouri Valley play, while ISU improves to 15-18 and 3-5 versus league foes.
Senior Keaton Rice led Bradley with three hits and two RBI on the day, while junior Connor O'Brien also added a pair of hits.
Illinois State hit its spots in the first frame to take a lead it would not relinquish.
