EVANSTON, Ill. – The Illinois State swimming and diving teams had several impeccable performances on their last day competing at the TYR Invitational in Evanston, Illinois, on Sunday. Through event 50 of the meet, Illinois State was set to come in at fourth out of seven teams.
Getting things started for the Redbirds was Caroline Lecoeur, who opened the meet with an impressive performance in the platform diving event, capturing a record score of 166.80.
"It was a great way to end our last diving event with a new 5-dive platform record for Caroline (Lecoeur)," said head diving coach Phil Hoffmann.
