PEORIA — For Thomas Hall, the past year he spent at Air Force was a great life experience. But, in the end, the Metamora native decided there was no place like home.
“The academy taught me a lot,” he said. “It was a tough experience, but it definitely increased my mental toughness. I have all the respect for the guys who are still there.
“I improved basketball-wise and built up my strength. But I didn’t know what I wanted to study there, and I’ve had time to reflect. I decided to go into pre-med and saw that Bradley had a good program.
