After running the first sub-four-minute mile time in the Missouri Valley Conference this season, Illinois State senior Jack Anstey earned his third MVC weekly honor this year and ninth overall on Tuesday.
Anstey had the top collegiate time and placed second overall at the Last Chance College Elite Meet in Seattle, finishing in 3:59.93.
He is second on ISU's career list behind NCAA champion Christian Goy.
