NORMAL — Beginning with Thursday's 6:30 p.m. matchup with Illinois-Chicago, the Illinois State women's basketball team plays three of its next four games and five of its final eight at CEFCU Arena.
That means much more to the Redbirds than added nights in their own beds.
ISU's difficulty on the road has hampered its pursuit of a top four finish in the Missouri Valley Conference. At 14-8 overall and 7-5 in MVC play, the Redbirds are 5-0 in home league games and 2-5 on the road.
