ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- For the second consecutive week and the fourth time this fall, freshman outside hitter Hannah Thompson (Pekin, Ill./Pekin) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Monday.
The 13th four-time MVC Freshman of the Week selection in league history, Thompson has garnered MVC Freshman of the Week honors three of the five weeks since the conference opener back in mid-September. She was the Valley Freshman of the Week back on Sept. 4 & Sept. 24 in addition to last week's honor.
