Goods Ties Career High in Victory Over Valparaiso

VALPARAISO, Ind. Simone Goods secured a career high 30 points, guiding the Redbirds to a 70-67 win over the Valparaiso Crusaders.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Redbirds kept a lead for the majority of the first quarter, with Valpo only pulling ahead with a minute of playing time. Freshman guard Kayel Newland was featured in the starting lineup for the first time in her career and collected three points after being fouled under the basket.
