SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Illinois State track & field program wrapped up regular season competition at the Alex Wilson Invite on Saturday afternoon in South Bend, Indiana, as Jake Gillum, Rachel Hickey and Riley Wells each climbed higher in the ISU all-time Top-10 list.
Fifth-year senior Jake Gillum ran a new personal best in the men's mile run, finishing in a time of 4:04.27 to place second overall. Gillum's time moved him into the ISU Top-10 list, as he now ranks sixth in program history. He also holds the third-fastest time in the Valley on the season.
