ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Senior guard Gabi Haack has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year according to an announcement by the league office Tuesday morning.
The fourth two-time First-Team Valley Scholar-Athlete in program history, Haack joins Lora Weber (2001-02) as the only MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year selections in Bradley history.
Haack is fourth in Valley history in career three-pointers (272) and the MVC's active career scoring leader ranks fourth in Bradley history with 1,561 career points (29th nationally among active players). She is also among Bradley's career top 10 in made free throws (3rd), rebounds (T8th), starts (T4th) and minutes played (2nd), while starting each of the last 105 games for the Braves.
