PEORIA, Ill. -- Junior guard Gabi Haack (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after helping Bradley Women's Basketball to a pair of road wins as the Braves improved to 5-0 in league play.
Haack, who was named MVC Player of the Week Monday, averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 57 percent from the field in the two road victories. She scored a game-high 16 points and also had seven rebounds, three assists and one steal at Loyola, where she connected on a pair of three-pointers in a 60-47 victory.
