SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Freshman Maria Perakis tied for 15th and fellow freshman Kathryn McNease earned her first career top 20 finish as the duo helped Bradley Women's Golf tie for eighth in the 16-team field at the Payne Stewart Memorial Tuesday.
Bradley had its best round of the tournament with a 15-over 299 during Tuesday's final round at the par-71 Twin Oaks Country Club to tie Wichita State for eighth in the final team standings at 908. The Braves finished just five shots out of the top three and just six strokes separated third from 10th.
