ST. PETERSBURG FL - Former Bradley Baseball outfielder Max Murphy (2012-14) was awarded the Minor League Baseball "Rawlings Gold Glove Award®" for right field. The nine winners at each position were selected from players in the 10 full-season Minor Leagues and will be honored during the 2018 season.
In recognition of excellent defensive play, the MiLB "Rawlings Gold Glove Award®" is modeled after the award of the same name given to Major League Baseball's top defensive players.
Currently an outfielder in the Minnesota Twins organization, Murphy was recognized for his outstanding play in both Fort Myers (Class A Advanced Florida State League) and Chattanooga (Double-A Southern League).
