NORMAL, Ill. – A new society created by the Weisbecker Athletic Fund will recognize those donors who have taken the opportunity to create a lifetime impact on Illinois State student-athletes by endowing a scholarship, program, or position. "Forever State" takes its name from University traditions and the usage of the word forever is key, as any donor who has an endowment with Illinois State Athletics has etched their name into ISU Athletics legacies forever.
Forever State will provide benefits and recognition to all members annually, as well as connect all endowment donors with their recipient. At its inception, 30 scholarships are endowed annually by Illinois State Athletics donors.
