STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Senior Mara Flaherty sits two shots out of the top 20 in a tie for 27th and Bradley Women's Golf is tied for 14th in the team standings after the opening two rounds of play at the Nittany Lion Invitational Saturday.
Flaherty is the leader in the clubhouse for the Braves at five-over par 149, closing the day in a tie for 27th overall after she chased a first-round 76 with a season-best one-over 73 Saturday at the par-72 Penn State Blue Course.
As a team, Bradley carded rounds of 308 and 304 and will enter Sunday's final round tied with Columbia for 14th overall at 612, six shots ahead of 16th-place Bucknell (618).
