NORMAL, Ill. – A little wet weather did not stop the Redbirds from taking the field this morning for their fourth training camp practice and their first practice in shells.
This was the team's first practice wearing any type of padding as it works through the NCAA mandated acclimation period. The 'Birds worked through a number of individual and team specific drills with two 7-on-7 sessions highlighting the workout.
Practice Highlights:
• After a slight weather delay moved the start back an hour, practice began with a team stretch and transitioned into a special teams circuit and individual drills.
