PEORIA – Ronnie Suggs wanted to stay at Bradley. But he’s happy with how his college basketball career has turned out.
Suggs, who played his first two seasons at BU from 2015-17, is now a grad transfer at Southern Illinois via Missouri and will start for the Salukis in Saturday night’s Missouri Valley Conference matchup at Carver Arena.
“It was tough to leave Bradley,” Suggs said. “I didn’t want to leave at all. I had made a good connection with the team. I really loved the city of Peoria.
