Ex-Brave Dodie Dunson lands assistant job for UAB women

Former Bradley player Dodie Dunson has joined the women’s basketball staff at UAB as an assistant coach working primarily with the post players.

Dunson, a Bloomington native, graduated from BU in 2010. After one year of playing professional basketball, he has held several coaching positions.

Most recently, Dunson was an assistant for the SIU-Edwardsville women’s team for two years.

“Dodie is a high-character, high-integrity individual who is very passionate about the game,” said UAB head coach Randy Norton. “He is, without a doubt, an up-and-coming star in this profession.”
