EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Bradley Tennis went 2-1 in doubles action with juniors Maria Bezmenova and Juliana Martinez along with freshman Anna Belogliadova each part of doubles victories in addition to the trio splitting a pair of singles matches to highlight day one for the Braves at SIU Edwardsville's Cougar Invite.
Bezmenova and Belogliadova were 6-1 winners over the Eastern Illinois doubles squad of Lauren Ellis and Brittany Steven in the B Doubles Bracket. Bradley also picked up a doubles victory in the C Bracket with junior Alexandra Hildreth and Martinez earning a 6-2 victory over the EIU pairing of Claire Perez-Korinko and Emma Piliovic-Kljajic.
