NORMAL — DJ Horne and his Illinois State basketball team gathered to watch a film at 8 a.m. Thursday.
Needless to say, it wasn't an Academy Award-winning performance.
The Redbirds had to painfully sit through the film from their 80-60 loss to Missouri State the night before which every ISU coach and player agreed was their worst effort level of the season.
"I can assure you it was disappointing watching the film because I personally know we're better than that," said Horne, the Redbird freshman guard.
