Illinois State soccer senior Kate Del Fava was named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Third Team, as announced by the organization late last week.
This is the third All-American accolade Del Fava has received related to academics for the 2019 season, having also been named a Senior CLASS Award All-American and a CoSIDA Academic All-American for the second year in a row. Del Fava is the only Illinois State student-athlete in history to ever headline a CoSIDA Academic All-America Team, as she was also announced as the 2019 Academic All-America Team Member of the Year.
