The Illinois State soccer team defeated Northern Illinois 3-0 in their home opener at Adelaide Street Field on Sunday. Senior Kate Del Fava continued her impressive scoring streak, burying two goals and assisting on the third. Brittany Paganucci also scored and added an assist of her own, to open her 2019 scoring account.
"Tonight was a tremendous team performance," said head coach Brad Silvey. "To get the shutout, to get the three goals, and to really own possession the way we did in the second half – tonight was the most complete performance we've had this season and that's really exciting for us.
