NORMAL, Ill. – Two-time Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Year and 2020 PING Third Team All-American David Perkins was announced as one of 45 individuals to qualify among the six NCAA Regional sites and will play in the Noblesville (Ind.) Regional.
Perkins becomes the fifth MVC golfer since 2005 to earn an at-large individual spot into the regional, joining former teammate Trent Wallace who earned the honor in 2019.
Becoming just the fifth golfer in MVC history to earn back-to-back Golfer of the Year honors, Perkins led the Redbirds with a 72.
