Senior Darrell Brown and junior Elijah Childs highlighted the Valley preseason poll and honorees for the Bradley men's basketball team as each earned Preseason All-Missouri Valley Conference Team accolades, announced by the league on Thursday.
As a team, Bradley was selected to finish second in the annual preseason poll, as selected by the conference's head coaches, SIDs and media members. It marks the Braves' highest placement in the preseason rankings in 12 years since BU was also slated to finish second in 2007-08.
Brown was one of five student-athletes listed on the All-Valley First Team, becoming the first Brave to earn preseason first-team honors since Walt Lemon Jr.
