Springfield, Mo. – The fourth-seeded Bradley baseball team finally opened the 2022 MVC Tournament on late Thursday night but third-seeded Dallas Baptist scored a late run to prevail, 4-3. The Braves are now 20-28 on the year, while the Patriots improve to 34-20-1.
Senior Carl Valk and sophomore Carson Husmann both hit home runs for the Braves but it was an eighth-inning run that led to the DBU victory in the tournament opener for both teams.
