NORMAL, Ill. – A total of five current and future student-athletes will compete at the USA Track & Field 2015 Junior Championships in Clovis, California on June 24-26.
Athletes have a chance to earn a spot on the junior Team USA, who will then compete at IAAF World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland from July 19-24. The national junior team has a maximum of two entries per event.
Illinois State has a group of four current student-athletes have will be competing for a spot, and they are Tessa Holland (heptathlon), Brandy Thomas (shot put), Shandall Thomas (100m) and Ashleigh Wilson (400m).
