The No. 7-ranked Illinois Wesleyan softball team split a pair of nonconference games against DePauw, winning, 13-5, in six innings, before losing, 4-1, at Greencastle, Ind.
The Titans (13-4) watched Brittany Murphy swat a home run and finish with two RBIs in the victory while Mia Massaro had two hits including a double to drive in three runs. Kara Bischoff chipped in two hits and two RBIs. Brea Walker (6-1) got the win.
In the nightcap, all of the runs for DePauw (9-9) were unearned against Ally Wiegand (7-2), who fanned seven and scattered four hits. IWU's five hits included a home run by Sam Berghoff.
