Illinois Wesleyan seniors Jill Harmon and Nia Joiner led the way Saturday as the No. 1-nationally ranked Titans successfully defended their crown in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin indoor track championships at Naperville.
Harmon was named the "Field Athlete of the Meet" after following her Friday pentathlon victory with a winning triple jump of 38 feet, 10¼ inches. Joiner tied a Division III record with a winning time of 7.51 seconds in the 60 meter dash as the Titans totaled 205 points to win by 31.
