ST. LOUIS – Illinois State sophomore Morgan Clark was awarded Missouri Valley Conference Swimmer of the Week after a pair of dual meets this weekend. This honor marks the first career weekly accolade for the Redbird.
Clark had an engaging weekend in the pool, as the Illinois State student-athlete helped the Redbirds secure a pair of dual wins against Evansville and Washington University of Saint Louis. On Friday against the Purple Aces, Clark aided the Redbird relay teams in capturing a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a split of 25.72, for a final time of 1:47.
