Redbirds safety Keondre Jackson signed with Baltimore, while linebacker Jalan Gaines is headed to Seattle.

Jackson was third on the ISU defense in tackles last season with 99 while also contributing 4.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions and six pass break ups.

Illinois State linebacker Jalan Gaines pursued North Dakota quarterback Tommy Schuster in a 2023 game at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, N.D.

Gaines recorded 50 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, five sacks and 12 quarterback hurries.
