Little Rock scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday to edge the Illinois State baseball team, 7-6, at Little Rock, Ark.

Jake McCaw's two-run home run in the seventh inning had given the Redbirds (0-2) a 5-3 lead. Two batters earlier, Joe Butler's solo homer had tied the score.
Joe Butler had four of ISU's nine hits and Jack Butler two. Redbird starter Brett Wicklund allowed three earned runs and struck out four in five innings.
