PEORIA -- Bradley freshman forward Scottie James will transfer to Liberty, a source close to the Virginia Division I school told the Journal Star.
The 6-foot-7 James showed promise with the Braves this season during the non-conference season, but he played sparingly once the Missouri Valley Conference slate unfolded.
Overall, the Tarpon Springs, Fla., native averaged 10 minutes per game in 30 of 32 games, averaging 3.2 points and 2.6 rebounds.
Liberty, located in Lynchburg, Va., is coached by Ritchie McKay, a former Bradley assistant coach under Jim Molinari.
