Brown and bench key Bradley in 70-64 win over Weber State

It’s been a long time — nine years and two coaches ago, in fact — since Bradley has posted two wins during a three-game in-season tournament.

But the Braves did just that this weekend, overcoming the absence of starting center Koch Bar (passport issues) for all three games and forward Luuk van Bree (grandfather’s funeral) for one.

Bradley completed a fifth-place showing in the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase with a strong performance Sunday, beating Weber State 70-64.

The win pushed Bradley to 4-1, its best start to a season in four years.

“A gutsy win by our guys,” BU coach Brian Wardle said on his WMBD radio postgame show.
