The Bradley cross country programs have momentum on their side as they head into the championship part of their season sweeping the Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Athletes of the Week.
Junior George Watson was named the male honoree after a school-record performance at Florida State, while freshman Nicola Jansen collected the female award after leading BU at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday.
Running at one of the nation's most competitive regular-season meets, Watson placed 64th at the Pre-National Invitational in Florida. He ran the 8K course in 23:58.
