Graduate student Alec Danner and freshman Peyton Schieppe of the Bradley cross country teams swept the Missouri Valley Conference weekly awards – earning the league's Male Athlete and Female Athlete of the Week accolades.
Danner led the Braves to the team title at the Bradley Intercollegiate, crossing the finish line in first place to claim his first collegiate cross country individual crown. The graduate student ran the 8K course in 23:49.2 to record the fastest time in school history – surpassing the record of 23:58.3 previously held by George Watson.
