PEORIA, IL – Halting a 10-match drought against Saint Louis and a brief, 2-match skid overall, Bradley (9-4) rallied for a 4-3 dual match victory against the visiting Billikens (4-8) Thursday afternoon at the Clubs at River City.
Facing a 3-2 deficit with two matches remaining on the courts, senior Malini Wijesinghe forced a tie with a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 3 Singles. In the only 3-set match of the day, sophomore Sandra Maletin pulled out a 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 win at No. 1 Singles against Cassie McKenzie to secure Bradley's first win against the Billkens since April 13, 2005.
