PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Volleyball had a chance to move into a tie for second place in the Missouri Valley Conference standings, but Loyola topped the Braves 25-19, 27-25, 25-20 Saturday afternoon at Renaissance Coliseum despite the 16th double-double of the year from BU sophomore Hannah Thompson.
Loyola (14-7 overall, 7-1 MVC) used late pushes in all three sets to pull away in the tightly contested match, which featured 26 ties and 12 lead changes throughout. Thompson notched a team-high 10 kills and also came up with a match-high 17 digs to lead Bradley (9-10 overall, 5-3 MVC).
