DES MOINES, Iowa – Senior Lucy Mead collected four hits, going 4-for-7 with a run and RBI, but Drake limited Bradley to nine hits on the day as the Bulldogs topped the Braves 10-2 and 6-2 Saturday at Buel Field to open a three-game Missouri Valley Conference series.
Mead, who has three multi-hit games in the last four outings, had a double among her four hits and also stole a pair of bases in the twinbill to lead Bradley (17-17 overall, 5-6 MVC).
