The Bradley men's basketball team begins its quest to defend its Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title on Friday versus Southern Illinois.
Bradley finished tied for third in the final MVC standings with Indiana State, with the Sycamores earning the tiebreak in the NET rankings, 100-112. As the four seed, the Braves square off with fifth-seeded Southern Illinois Friday at 2:30 p.m. If Bradley advances, it will play its semifinal on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with the championship game slated for Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Braves, who earned a top-four seed for the Valley Tournament for the first time since 2009, swept a pair of games from Southern Illinois during the season.
