CARBONDALE, IL – Game 7 of the Missouri Valley Conference Baseball Championship between third-seeded Bradley and top-seeded Dallas Baptist has been suspended due to weather and will be resumed at 11 a.m. Friday at Itchy Jones Stadium.
The start of Thursday's game was delayed 43 minutes due to lightning in the area with the threat of an impending storm. After play began, Bradley built a 2-0 lead on Ryan Vogel's third-inning home run and Brendan Dougherty's fifth-inning RBI single.
Bradley junior LHP Brooks Gosswein cruised through the first four innings, but DBU pushed across four runs in the fifth to pull ahead, 4-2.
