PEORIA, Ill. – The women's basketball team defeated Central Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 12 by a score of 65-62.
The Braves were fired up and started hot, forcing Central Michigan to burn their first timeout 2:44 in the first quarter after going on a 10-2 run. During that run, the Braves shot 4-5 from the field, 2-3 from three. Bradley led 24-21 after the first quarter. The Braves blinded the Chippewas with their smart passing, resulting in back-to-back wide open three-pointers from Junior Nika Dorsey. The Braves went into halftime leading 38-30.
