PEORIA -- Bradley transfer guard Danya Kingsby has been granted a waiver by the NCAA and will be eligible to play for the Braves during the 2019-20 men’s basketball season.
The 6-foot-1 Kingsby spent last season at LSU, which reached the NCAA Sweet 16, but did not play in a game partly because of a medical condition. The waiver enables him to forego sitting out next season because of customary transfer rules.
“So far this summer, we’re very excited about what Danya can bring to the floor for us,” said BU coach Brian Wardle. “He’s fit in effortlessly to our culture.
