Peoria, Ill. -- Wilma Nielsen collects another school record in the Women's 1000m and the rest of the team wrapped up at the IU Relays.
Nielsen Adds Another
For the third straight week Wilma Nielsen has collected a school record and now ranks second in NCAA history in the Women's 1000m event. With a time of 2:38.95, Nielsen just missed beating the best time in Sweden history at 2:38.11.
The second best time in NCAA history for the Women's 1000 was previously held by Kaela Edwards of Oklahoma State with a time of 2:40.
