Pekin, Ill. -- The Bradley Women's Tennis team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday over the Chicago State Cougars, 4-3.
The Braves hosted the Cougars at Parkside Fitness in Pekin on Saturday. The two teams met for a match with doubles play starting the day. The Cougars won two of the three matches.
Madalena Andrade and Kirstin Hailey suffered a defeat, 5-7 after they held an early lead in their match. Alexandra Hildreth and Mariia Pukhina battled back and forth early against their opponents but fell, 3-6.
