PEORIA, IL – Coming off a historic year in Bradley Tennis, a lone roster spot has opened for 2021-22 season and paved the way for a proven winner to join the Braves. Head Coach Matt Tyler today announced the addition of reigning Southwestern Athletic Conference Player of the Year Madalena Andrade (Torres Vedras, Portugal/Colégio Rainha Leonor), who will transfer from Alabama State and join the Braves with three years of remaining eligibility.
After posting a 4-3 record at No. 1 Singles during the abbreviated 2019-20 dual match season, Andrade led the Hornets with a 10-3 singles record in 2020-21, including a 5-0 record in SWAC play to earn the league's player-of-the-year honor.
