PEORIA — Native Chicagoan Julian Springer, who boasts 10 years of experience at the collegiate coaching and administrative level, was named Tuesday as director of basketball operations for Bradley men’s basketball.
Springer replaces Ryan Sharbaugh, who took an assistant coaching job at Cleveland State.
“Julian brings a lot of value and experience to this position,” BU coach Brian Wardle said in a statement. “He was extremely impressive during the interviewing process and there is no doubt that he will bring great energy and ideas to improve our program. His professionalism, work ethic and loyalty will fit perfectly within our culture.
