PEORIA, Ill. -- For the 14th consecutive year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has recognized the academic achievements of the Bradley softball team, naming the Braves one of the organization's 2017-18 All-Academic Teams.
In addition, Bradley had five individuals earn Division I All-American Scholar-Athlete honors according to a recent release by the NFCA.
Bradley ranked 90th among NCAA Division I softball programs with a 3.29 grade point average for the 2017-18 academic year and the Braves were one of six Missouri Valley Conference squads to receive NFCA All-Academic Team honors. Grand Canyon owned the top GPA in the country last year at 3.
