CHARLESTON – When JoJo McGlaston was benched midway through the second half Tuesday at Lantz Arena, he chose to keep focused rather than sulk for the next 5½ minutes. That attitude saved the day for Bradley in an 87-83 overtime win over Eastern Illinois.
“I got pulled out to get it back together,” McGlaston said. “So I watched the game and noticed they were over-helping and not looking on off-the-ball defense. So when I got back in, I cut to the basket and got some open layups.”
Those three consecutive layups cut a seven-point BU deficit at 4:54 to just one.
