The Bradley cross country teams finished strong before next weekend's Missouri Valley Conference Championship with the men's team winning the title at the Illini Open and the women finishing second.
Redshirt freshman Ben Wagoner paced the Braves with an 8K time of 25:41.7. The rookie finished sixth overall and second among attached runners in the meet as Bradley finished ahead of Indiana, Marquette and Butler in the team standings.
Brayden Huddleston was second on the team in 25:51.6 with Michael Hahndorf (26:19.9), Kerry Gschwendtner (26:28.
