PEORIA, IL – The Bradley soccer team earned a Missouri Valley Conference victory on Saturday night at Shea Stadium with a 1-0 win against SIU Edwardsville. The Braves are now 3-9-1 on the year and 2-5-0 in Valley action, while the Cougars move to 4-8-2 and 2-5-0 versus league foes.
The Braves applied pressure throughout with a number of near misses in the contest before finally grabbing the lead in the 77th minute. Jack Douglas flicked the ball toward goal-line extended with Jared Sinnaeve heading it toward the net.
